Brian O'Carroll Safer Weddings Policy

The "We Support Safer Weddings" badge was created in 2022 to allow wedding vendors, like me, a way to easily indicate that I support the rights of people to feel safe at a wedding.
The idea resulted after a blog post by Caroline Goosey started the conversation.

The Wedding Safety Manifesto for Vendors, Venues & Couples explains the reasons why this is necessary and the steps that can be taken by everyone.

We specifically wanted less formal and staged photos, as I feel quite self-conscious. Brian made us feel comfortable and was often pretty invisible, and captured lots of natural photos showing our emotions, exactly what I wanted.
